Local launch report

The local book launch last Thursday night was a great evening! Despite the rain and cold, there were about 40 people (maybe more) who came along to Dymocks and celebrated the book’s publication. The Dymocks staff were fantastic, and it was wonderful to have their support for the book.

I thought it was a particularly good book launch – lots of folk, lots of good book talk and interesting speeches. I confess I expected a reading too but thoroughly enjoyed what Bronwyn said and that is perhaps more important, after all, everyone who came to the launch might reasonably expect to buy and read the book so we didn’t need a long reading. Looking forward to the next one!

Congratulations, Bronwyn. I am thrilled to hear the book is on the shelves. This must have been a magical might for you – I’m sorry I missed it.
