    Hi Bron
    I’ve wandered onto your site from Fleur’s after reading your blog there. I really enjoyed what you had written, learning the hows and whys etc of your writing. Every author is different! I thought I’d come and have a look at your own site and, while looking around, I came across your blog on Nobody Writes it Better. I was amazed to find another person who has read the Abbey Girls stories!! I was a kid in the 70’s and my mother had many of these books which I have now inherited. I too loved Jen Marchwood and your depiction of her brought her back to life for me as I haven’t looked at these books for decades!! I loved stories in series format so devoured the Abbey Girls, Famous Five, Secret Seven, Trixie Belden, Hardy Boys, What Katy Did, Narnia chronicles and many many more. I have always loved a good mystery and lots of action!! I have also read your first book but have not had the pleasure of the second……yet! I am very glad to hear Dungirri will not become the next Midsomer – it’s a wonder there’s anybody left in that town!!! Looking forward to reading Dark Country and keeping up to date with you on your site.
