Thank you, Gail, Jen and Phillipa for your good wishes.

Yes, Gail - it was nice to have the inspiration :-) They don't know they've helped with some character inspiration, though - non-writers might not understand!

Jen, doggy company and love is always good :-) I'm pleased to hear that you're enjoying Dark Country - hope the enjoyment lasts right the way through! And yes, I'll be back to writing again this afternoon... making gradual progress, and my concentration span is finally improving beyond milliseconds and even into whole minutes!

Phillipa, your book release must be getting close! Is it in February?

OMGosh, Bron. You’ve been through a lot. Huge hugs coming your way! I hope you have an amazing Christmas with an extra speedy recovery. BTW, I loved that the doctors and hospital staff were so wonderful to you, and wasn’t it incredibly kind of them to inspire your characters. :)
All the best,
Gail

Thank you all for your good wishes. I'm feeling better each day, and rebuilding my energy levels gradually. I even walked the dogs this afternoon - not quite a kilometre, and at a gentle stroll, but we all enjoyed the late afternoon light and fresh air. And I've had a fairly good day writing today, with plans that tomorrow will be even more productive!

Great to have you back on-line (and home) and to discover you're finding positives amongst the untimely drama. --- I often wonder how sick one needs to be able to enjoy the benefit of a hospital stay, as my experience is that leaving always makes for an instant recovery.

Hope all settles into normality with haste, the script grows to maturity on time and the health anomalies disappear completely. ----- Take care ---- Eric
