I’m currently undertaking a part-time PhD at the University of New England, researching romance genre readers and writers communities, and their perspectives on the genre.

My research project involved an online survey, conducted from March to October, 2007, and a research blog. I am now currently analysing the data from the survey.

    Dear Bronwyn,

    Any chance we could tempt you to talk about your research this August in Brisbane? I’m putting together an International Conference on Popular Romance Studies with Toni Johnson-Woods and Glen Thomas, and it dovetails with the RWA get together. (We’re the 13th-14th, and the RWA is that weekend.) We’d love to see you there! Drop me a line and let me know how we can make this happen.

    I’ve read both your books and I’ve enjoyed them very much. Congratulations on your achievements including your studies. I’m a fellow student at UNE doing a Masters in Accounting by distance education since I live in Sydney.
