I haven&#8217;t stopped writing, but it&#8217;s been a struggle, and it will be a little while before the next book is finished. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there is some good news! I&#8217;ve been fortunate to be awarded a micro grant from the wonderful <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artsnw.com.au\/\">Arts NorthWest<\/a> for a week long writing\/research retreat which I hope will take place in November. I&#8217;m so looking forward to this &#8211; it will be great to spend some time in the area where part of the book is set to absorb the feel of the place, and have undistracted time to immerse myself in the story and write words!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"174\" height=\"143\" src=\"https:\/\/bronwynparry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/ArtsNW_logo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3631\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I know it&#8217;s been a long time between books.
