i am only 15 but i loved this book. my mumgave it to me for my birthday and i read it in a week. i couldnt put it down. every time i had a bit of spare time i would read it. i absolutely loved it and am looking forward to the next book.

I have just finished As Darkness Falls and wanted to let you know how fantastic it was I loved it from start to finish I loved Bella and Alec two truly wonderful people who really needed the strength they gained from each other.
You had me on the edge of my seat and I really felt a part of the story thank you for a wonderful story.
Hopefully we will be able to meet up again at Max Brenners before the conference.

Azteclady – no word yet on a US deal – but I think Dark Country will be out in the UK in April 2010 – so you could order it from Book Depository (free shipping) then – but I know, it seems ages away!
I thoroughly enjoyed As Darkness Falls then lucked into Dark Country when walking through a book shop. I also found this to be a ‘Don’t put down novel’. I am interested to know when the third book in the trilogy will be released.

I came across Dark Country at Sydney Airport and just knew I had to have it. I read it in a few hours! So now I have to work backwards and read As Darkness Falls.
I love this genre, and as an Australian who only sometimes lives in Australia, I absolutely adore stories like this.

I have just read Dark Country and must complain about it-I just could not put it down! What a fantastic book and I am on the lookout for your other book As Darkness Falls. I have passed it on to another friend to read who had the same problem. She is now purchasing a copy as a present for a family member’s Birthday

I saw on a couple of websites (such as Book Depository and Books on Board) that your books are listed as ebooks, but that they are not currently available.
Does this mean that they will be available as ebooks some time in the future? I prefer print books, but as I am at my computer for much of each day, I’d love to have copies to read during breaks.

I ordered both from Book Depository, so it sounds like that’s where I’ll need to look for the final book in the trilogy. I love both of your books and having been eagerly awaiting the third instalment from the moment I set Dark Country down on my coffee table after finishing it the first time (a day after having bought it). It’s wonderful having an Australian author whose work is set here and whose characters are so familiar and genuine to a fellow local. Your books come alive from the pages, the people, places and events vivid and as heart capturing as if you had always known and loved the characters.
I’ve just finished reading them both again and I was struck by how enjoyable it is to re-read them. One of my criteria for a truly great book is one where knowing “the twist” doesn’t ruin it, especially in crime/suspense fiction. One where, getting to the last page makes me want to flick back and read favourite parts again rather than to stick it on the “read” pile for placement at the back of the bookshelves. Both As Darkness Falls & Dark Country fall into the former category – among my favourite books.
I can also pass on the love from the friends and family I’ve introduced them to and have found them equally delightful – although they are rather hazardous to have in reach during exams I’ve found.
My one wish would be to see them come out as audio editions, although it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve read an entire book out loud so perhaps I’ll just have to dose up on butter-menthols!

Dear Bronwyn, i read As Darkness Falls in January and have just this minute finished Dark Country. I read Dark Country in 2 days (thank God for school holidays, yes i am a teacher). I could not put either of them down and as one of the comments above said i agree, I enjoyed Dark COuntry even more than as Darkness Falls – when is the 3rd coming out in Australia????? Sooooonnnnnnn pleeassssee!!!!!!!!!! Well done and i hope all is well with you and please keep writing!
